Private Maths Tuition (Newquay/Truro)

Private tuition is offered by an experienced Maths teacher who taught very successfully for nearly 30 years at Newquay Tretherras Academy and has now taken early retirement (DBS ref.000970908289).
Students can either attend one-to-one Maths lessons in my study at Bonython Road, Newquay or use ZOOM.
ZOOM (strictly one to one)……How would this operate?
Examples and exercises would be sent to the student a few days before the lesson by email.
A zoom code would be sent to the student just before the lesson so that the necessary contact can be made. During the lesson we would go through the the examples in detail, slowly and carefully. Together we would then attempt a relevant exercise. At the end of the lesson we would then decide which area of Maths the student would like to cover in future lessons.
Maths is one of the most important subjects a pupil studies during their school/college years. A thorough knowledge of the subject is essential if the pupil is to achieve a high grade. Also, good Maths grades are valued very highly by universities when considering a student’s application.
Pupils can make considerable progress in one-to-one situations. Difficulties can be overcome quickly and areas of concern can be highlighted by employing a patient and friendly approach.
